Hello, Bonjour, 你好

I am Thea, Da Silva was given by my husband family heritage. It is the name of this little gallery created in 2017 when my first daughter was born. It was a private photo gallery for our families and friends to look at our children's steps and the happiness of our family.

I was holding my first film camera when I was just 3, it belonged to my grandfather. My life has been tightly linked with photography since then. I've learned a great deal with him, from holding a camera properly to patiently developing photos.

At the age of 17, I owned my first Canon EOS and it accompanied me through different stages in life, traveling to many countries and giving me new perspectives when looking at the world.

Time flies, even decades later the memories of my grandfather trying to make me laugh behind his lens are still fresh. Now my daughter is holding my camera just like I used to. There is a sense of perpetuation of our family tradition, hoping that the passion of photography runs to our next generation.

There is a French saying " la vie est faite de petits bonheurs", let's treasure every minute with our family and friends, making sure to encapsulate our future memories.
